The object of the Wargrave Local History Society is to provide a common meeting ground for the study and discussion of, and research into, history in general, and of the local area in particular.
Meetings usually take place on the second Tuesday of the month excluding August (March is the AGM, December the Christmas party).
This month: Twyford and Ruscombe - Audrey Curtis.
Audrey Curtis is secretary of the Twyford and Ruscombe Local History Society. She is the author of a book about these two neighbouring villages and will tell us of the people, places and events associated with them.
