Twyford Whist Drive

Local couple Ted and Betty Smith run a whist drive in Twyford every second Tuesday evening in the St Thomas More Catholic church hall (by Twyford Surgery). You do not need a partner, just arrive ready to start at 7.30pm prompt.

The £2 entry includes a cup of tea or coffee and biscuits, and there are usually about 6 prizes. Participants are also asked to bring a small raffle prize and buy a ticket for £1. This way everyone should go home with something. Funds raised are paid out to a charity whenever the pot reaches £300 - benefiting whatever cause is voted on by a show of hands.
