TRHA Autumn Show

Sat 10 September 2022

Entries on view to public 2pm to 4pm

Loddon Hall, Loddon Hall Road, Twyford RG10 9JA

Twyford & Ruscombe Horticultural Association holds three shows a year at Loddon Hall - Spring, Summer and Autumn.

Exhibiting in the shows is restricted to TRHA members, their children and grandchildren.

After judging has been completed, visitors are welcome to view the entries from 2.00pm to 4.00pm, and to enjoy refreshments including home made cakes. Since 2021 members of the public also have the opportunity to vote for additional prizes in some categories.

This year's Summer Show was a great success: TRHA look forward to receiving even more entries this Autumn, with more members becoming accustomed to returning to life as normal following two years of disruption due to the Covid pandemic.

Association members can refer to their copy of the show schedule for details of the competition classes and entry forms. The information can also be found on the TRHA website or can be collected from the TRHA Store, open on Sunday mornings by the allotments in Loddon Hall Road.

The junior members of TRHA will be bringing the heads of the sunflowers they have been growing to be measured. Judging by the success of the potato growing competition this year, and the interest in the plant stall, it is obvious that TRHA have some budding horticulturalists in their midst!

The TRHA has made an open invitation for people to join their first post-Covid outing: a coach trip to RHS Wisley on Wednesday 14 September 2022. The £22 cost includes entry and transport from Twyford. Details can be found in the TRHA newsletter or on the website, Payment can be made at the TRHA Store in Loddon Hall Road, Twyford, RG10 9JA, any Sunday morning.
