Woodley Photographic Club is a well established group catering for all levels of photography skills from the beginner to the expert. It meets every Monday evening except Bank Holidays and the summer break, from 7.45pm to 10pm at the Oakwood Centre in Woodley. There is plenty of free parking opposite the centre.

The club runs a varied programme of events, from guest speakers on a wide range of photographic subjects (such as wildlife, street photography, landscapes, portraits, digital photo editing) to competitions in print and digital display format. There are also opportunities to join in club outings.

The ethos of the club is to have fun and enjoyment from photography. Club members are a happy lot, always willing to help and advise others. Members also take part in inter-club competitions, which broaden photographic understanding and knowledge.

The annual subscription is £30 and there is a charge of £2.50 per club night to include tea and biscuits and a chance to win a bottle of wine – not bad for an evening’s entertainment!

Newcomers are welcome to visit for three meetings free of charge before subscribing. For more details and for the programme for future meetings please visit the club website.
