Wokingham Lions Club is a thriving and growing part of local life, serving not only the town but other parts of the borough including Twyford, Wargrave and villages nearby.
Wokingham Lions have been increasing their visibility in the RG10 area over recent years and are keen to continue this going forward. They are behind many local events such as the town’s May Fayre and Winter Carnival, the Classic Motor Show, the Wokingham Walks (Spring and Autumn), Comedy Nights and Quiz Nights, and the Wokingham Swimathon.
A few years ago they also took over the running of Wokingham Music Club, which holds regular live music events at venues in Wokingham and Winnersh.
All these events raise funds for local charities and other good causes. Wokingham Lions Club fundraising exceeded £100,000 for the first time in 2025.
