This 19th century wheelwright’s shop started selling beer when the railways arrived in the early 1850s.

A friendly local pub attracting both visitors and residents, The Wheelwright’s Arms retains its stone floors, beamed ceilings, exposed brickwork and real fire.

Daryl, Katie and the team take pride in making everyone feel welcome and offering good quality food with great attention to details.

A gluten free menu is available. All poultry and eggs are free range and meats are sourced from award winning butchers Walter Rose & Sons of Devizes.

There is seating at both front and back of the pub with a heated smoking area near the main entrance. There is a large enclosed beer garden at the rear – added as part of a total refurbishment in 2016.

The Wheelwright’s Arms is probably one of the most dog-friendly pubs in Berkshire, located just over the road from the Davis Street access to Dinton Pastures Country Park.
