Twyford & Ruscombe Cricket Club is a friendly, active club with a busy fixture list for both a midweek league and a Saturday league – having had considerable success in both in recent years. Anyone, young or old, interested in taking up cricket in Twyford is more than welcome at the club.
TRCC are represented by their first team who play in the Berkshire Cricket League Premier Division, a development XI who are in division 3 of the BCL, and a friendly Sunday side. There is also a thriving colts section offering coaching and fixtures for U11s and up.
Colts
TRCC’s youth section offers coaching for boys and girls in school years 1 to 8. Several youth teams take part in a county league. Practice sessions are run indoors in February and March, held on Saturday afternoons at Reading Blue Coat School in Sonning. Practice then moves outdoors from April, held on Thursday evenings at the club’s ground at Stanlake Meadow in Twyford.
