T.A.C.T. is a very friendly community group launched in September 2019 aimed at supporting local families with children on the autistic spectrum.
The group holds free tea and coffee afternoons every other Friday open to parents and carers, giving the opportunity to meet others, share experiences and offer support. Meetings are held from 1pm to 2.30pm every other Friday at Twyford District Youth & Community Centre, starting from 13 September 2019.
T.A.C.T also runs a free stay and play session for children with autism and their families on the first Sunday of the month from 10am to 12 noon at the same venue. This is a non-judgemental space, with no expectations placed on any child to play in a certain way. Siblings are also very welcome to attend.
