St Nicholas Hurst Parish Council consists of ten elected volunteers who are responsible for overseeing a number of amenities in the village, including two playgrounds and the allotments.
Members of the council work closely with Wokingham Borough Council and Hurst Village Society to ensure the parish is maintained and developed for the benefit of both parishioners and visitors.
Council meetings are usually held on the first (occasionally second) Monday of each month except August, at 7.30pm in the committee room of the Hurst Village Halls.
