People, Planet, Pastry is a morning version of the popular evening People, Planet Pint events - local meetups for anyone who is curious, conscious or concerned about climate change and sustainability.
The breakfast meetings are for businesses, charities and nonprofits that are curious about environmental sustainability - regardless of how far along they are on their sustainability journey.
Come along to People, Planet, Pastry to meet and learn from other local businesses.
Hosted by local resident and climate communicator Elizabeth Corse, this interactive session is an opportunity to share what’s worked, what hasn’t, what challenges you face and help our local business community accelerate local climate action.
The venue is Wokingham’s zero waste shop, Maya's Refillables, and delicious drinks and pastries are supplied by local eatery, Hamlet.
Wokingham's People, Planet, Pint events take place at the Rose Inn from 6pm to 9pm on the first Thursday of each month. Co-hosted again by Elizabeth with another local mum, Anna Watson, together they work hard to create a relaxed and welcoming space that brings together people who share an interest in sustainability in all its forms.
About People, Planet, Pint and People, Planet Pastry
People, Planet, Pint and People, Planet Pastry are the brainchild of Small99 founder, Adam Bastock. Small99 helps small businesses across the UK to improve their sustainability programmes and achieve net zero emissions while building a more resilient and profitable company at the same time.
The meetings are spaces where everyone can feel comfortable learning about sustainability and sharing their ideas. After all, creating a sustainable future requires connected communities. And what better way to bring everyone together than over a drink or a cup of coffee?
