Climate Fresk is a game that helps people to learn about climate change – a big, complicated topic! It takes the form of a fun, interactive three-hour workshop.

Following the success of Wokingham’s first Climate Fresk event in November 2023, new dates have been announced: Tuesday 30 January and 27 February. The sessions will once again be held from 6pm to 9pm in the Oak Room upstairs at the Rose Inn in Market Place.

Climate Fresk explains the cause and effect of climate change, what it is, how it will impact us and what you can do about it – so you can feel more confident when the topic comes up. The game is for anyone aged 10+ and suitable for beginners and experts alike. It’s been played by over 1 million people worldwide. The game facilitates not only a greater understanding of climate change but also the formation of new connections and friendships.

The Wokingham events are facilitated by local resident and climate communicator Elizabeth Corse. Find out more on Elisabeth’s website, discom.me, where you can also find details about People, Planet, Pint – free meet-ups welcoming anyone curious about climate change and sustainability to have a chat over a drink.
