Wargrave Local History Society

The object of the Wargrave Local History Society is to provide a common meeting ground for the study and discussion of, and research into, history in general, and of the local area in particular.

Meetings usually take place on the second Tuesday of the month excluding August (March is the AGM, December the Christmas party).

This month's talk: Reading in World War 1 by Dr Margaret Simons.

Margaret, a noted local historian, has made a special study of Reading during World War 1, and will share some of her discoveries with the society.
