The object of the Wargrave Local History Society is to provide a common meeting ground for the study and discussion of, and research into, history in general, and of the local area in particular.
Meetings usually take place on the second Tuesday of the month excluding August (March is the AGM, December the Christmas party).
This month: Local history visit to the Tudor Manor at Dorney Court.
Dorney Court has parts dating from 1440 and has been home to the Palmer family for well over 450 years.
