The object of the Wargrave Local History Society is to provide a common meeting ground for the study and discussion of, and research into, history in general, and of the local area in particular.
Meetings usually take place on the second Tuesday of the month excluding August (March is the AGM, December the Christmas party).
This month's talk: Shire Hall remembered by Clive Williams.
Clive was the County Secretary and County Solicitor for the Berkshire County Council, and will explain some of its history and operation.
