Wargrave Festival is the biggest community festival for miles around.
You will find something for everyone of any age to make the partying truly all inclusive. The committee is enthusiastic and they, as well as the contributing village organisations, have been working very hard to make this one a corker.
The festival is for the people of Wargrave, by the people of Wargrave.
The Festival, which was inspired by the Vicar, the late Revd John Ratings, was first held in the summer of 1975 and has been held every other year since. From relatively modest beginnings, it has become a wide ranging social event, drawing together the whole community in two weeks of non-stop activities. Almost all village organisations play their part.
.For the Wargrave 'Out Of This World' Village Festival this June there are well over 100 individuals and 21 different village societies involved in organising 47 separate events between 12 and 30 June.
How do I buy tickets?
The best way to buy tickets for Wargrave Festival Events is to attend the Ticket Day on Saturday 27 April at the Scout Hut, Recreation Ground from 9am to 12 noon. Tickets are sold on a strictly ‘first come, first served’ basis and some events sell out quickly. A few events are limited to a set number of tickets per person (see programme). To buy tickets after ticket day, check availability by contacting the organiser of the event directly.
