Wargrave Cricket Club is holding a fundraising beer festival at Wargrave Recreation Ground on 31 May and 1 June.

Bring your own picnic rugs and chairs and enjoy the live music, local beer and cider from leading Thames Valley breweries, and food from Cuzza Wallah and Rural Pie Co.

There'll also be a game of cricket to watch on the Saturday!

Can you support the expansion of girls cricket through a collaboration between Wargrave CC,  Reading CC and Sonning CC? The name of the cricket hub, Thames Fusion, is linked to all three teams being within the Thames Valley region. The aim of the club is to create a cricket hub for girls aged from U9 to U19 to encourage them into the game of cricket and provide them with meaningful opportunities to play competitive cricket.

Wargrave Cricket Club is currently looking for a sponsor that might be interested in being aligned with this initiative and gain exposure across all three clubs. They are hoping to produce playing shirts for all the girls with a sponsor's logo on them. As the girls are also paying for membership and uniform at their respective clubs, this would avoid them having to pay additional money for another team shirt, but still feel part of a this new wider sporting community.

The girls teams are fixtured to play approximately 40 games over the summer across Berkshire and Oxfordshire.

Sponsorship will support the purchase of club T-shirts with sponsors' logos.
