The Walnuts are a bunch of middle-aged guys (and that's being kind to at least one or two of them) who love playing all sorts of music including Celtic, folk and Americana.
They raise money for charities by playing concerts in people’s front rooms, back gardens, kitchens, village halls, churches, islands, boats, shop fronts, service stations, lighthouses and vineyards (anywhere really).
Over the years they have toured both Europe and Scotland.
On this occasion they will be raising funds for Alzheimer’s research and also funds to support St Nicholas Church.
Join them for a summer's evening of Celtic Funk, Folk and Americana, topped up with fun and games, with bells on!
They start in the Castle Inn at 6pm, to the sound of the fiddle and with Matt's very special pizzas for sale. Then pick up your drinks and wander over to the church, accompanied by the bells of St. Nicholas!
Take your seats for 7.30pm until you feel like dancing, and continue until the music stops, when it's back to the pub.

As well as at the Castle Inn, drinks will be available in church and you will be able to buy raffle tickets.
