PACT is an outstanding voluntary adoption agency with offices in Reading, Brighton and London. During the current Government advice regarding social distancing, PACT is currently unable to offer face-to-face adoption information events.
Children are continuing to come into care throughout this pandemic and there is an urgent need for people to come forward and be assessed and approved as adopters. PACT has developed remote alternatives to all parts of the adoption process and is welcoming enquiries from prospective adopters throughout this period.
A programme of virtual information events is now in place. Participants can join using Zoom, a cloud-based software, and hear from a PACT social worker and an adopter about all aspects of adoption. There is the opportunity to ask questions throughout.
PACT virtual adoption information events are informal opportunities to find out about PACT and the adoption process. You will also hear from one of their adopters about their experience and you will be able to speak with one of their senior social workers and ask any questions you may have.
PACT offers adoption services to couples and single people who live within a 50 mile radius of one of their three offices in Reading, Brighton and London.
To find out if PACT operates in your area please call them via the number above. Lines are open 10am-5pm on Monday, Wednesday and Friday, 10am-8pm on Tuesday and Thursday, and 10am-1pm on Saturday.
If you are considering adopting with PACT please do contact their enquiries team by phone or via the email link above to book a place on an event.
