Parents And Children Together (PACT) is an independent adoption charity that finds loving and permanent families for children waiting in care. PACT is rated outstanding by Ofsted and offers award-winning support to its families for life.
PACT runs a programme of virtual adoption information events for anyone who is keen to find out more about adoption.
They particularly welcome people who would consider becoming adoptive parents for the children who wait the longest for adoption. These include children aged three years old or older, brothers and sisters of all ages who need to stay together, black and mixed ethnicity children, and those with additional needs or disabilities.
PACT’s virtual adoption information events are informal opportunities to find out about the charity, the support offered to families for life, and what’s involved in the adoption process. You will also hear from one of their adopters about their experience, speak with one of their senior social workers, and get the opportunity to ask any questions you may have.
PACT offers adoption services to couples and single people who live within a 50 mile radius of one of their four locations in Reading, Oxford, Brighton and London.
You can visit their website using the link above to download their Guide to Adoption.
