Twyford & Ruscombe Cricket Club's first social event of the year is the Pre-Season Quiz at The Golden Cross. This offers a great chance for local residents to meet a wide range of club members and enjoy a fun evening. Enter your own team if you wish! It's a relaxed and fun night out for all, and not just cricket fans. Come and join a local success story and help the club raise funds to support coaching for its large and expanding colts section.

Twyford & Ruscombe Cricket Club is a traditional village cricket club offering the opportunity for all ages and abilities to take part in a game in which England are actually world champions!

TRCC 1^st XI, having won promotion last season, will be playing in the Premier Division of the Berkshire Cricket League this year. The club also now has a Development XI playing in Division 3 - made possible by progressing some of the younger members through the successful colt and junior programme over the last few years. The colts and juniors can access expert coaching and competitive fixtures throughout the summer. The club also has a full calendar of Sunday ‘Friendly’ XI fixtures that take players to a number of the most attractive village grounds in Berkshire and the Chilterns.

The season opens with eight weekly indoor net sessions starting on Tuesday 25 February. This year the nets will be held at Waingels College in Woodley. Members would be delighted to see new faces come along and join in: full cricket kit and equipment will be made available.
