What’s growing on in Twyford?

Calling all gardeners! Whether you’re a budding Monty Don or you’re more used to killing houseplants with kindness, gardeners of all abilities are guaranteed a warm welcome at Twyford Growers. This friendly, sociable group meets on a weekly basis on Thursday mornings at Hurst Road Allotments, Twyford. The group grow all sorts of flowers and produce, and enjoy tasting the fruits of their labours too.

The site is near to the train station, with parking, seating and toilets available on site, and the group always enjoys a hot drink together at the end of each session. Any older person in the local area is welcome to come along – the group is also dementia-friendly, and carers are also welcome.
