Twyford Bowling Club open day

Located in the centre of the village, Twyford Bowling Club is holding its annual Open Day on Saturday 4 May. Here’s your chance to have a go; their coaches will be on hand all day to help you get to grips with the finer points of the game. They'll spend a short while explaining the basics, then it will be straight on to the green to try for yourself.

If you cannot make the Open Day, don't worry - there are also coaching sessions from 5.30 to 8pm on Friday evenings throughout the summer. Just turn up with flat soled shoes; you will be given a warm welcome.

Members can play in competitions and there are weekly league matches both home and away, but not everyone wants to compete. There are also plenty of opportunities for the casual bowler to join friendly roll-ups throughout the week. If you don’t want to play, you can still join as a social member and enjoy watching the games and taking part in the various social events throughout the year.
