The AGM of Twyford & Ruscombe Horticultural Association will be held on 31 January 2019.
TRHA was founded in 1955 as a ‘not for profit’ organisation run by volunteers. Its objectives are to:
- Promote gardening and allotment cultivation to all ages
- Hold meetings on horticultural topics for members
- Stage shows for members
- Offer gardening supplies at discounted rates
- Organise visits and days out to places of interest
- Provide an informative monthly newsletter to each member
TRHA prides itself on being a community organisation and its committee and members have supported a number of local horticultural projects.
Twyford & Ruscombe Horticultural Association runs three shows a year in spring, summer and autumn at Loddon Hall in Twyford. As well as the vegetable and flower growing categories they usually include some domestic, art and photography sections.
