This year the church's alternative to the spooks and scares of Hallowe'en is a tea-time pirate adventure!
Join the Messy Church team at St Nicholas Church in Hurst for games, crafts, treasure hunting, a shadow puppet story and a visit to their amazing hot chocolate creation station.
They promise you will leave this end-of-half-term party with a bag of sweets!
The event is aimed at children aged 3 to 11 years, but they do need to bring their grown-up along to supervise.
Pirate costumes are encouraged but not obligatory, and do bring a torch to help with your (indoor) treasure hunting.
