The Shredquarters gym in Twyford is hosting an interstellar challenge on Saturday 17 May 2025... Racing to the moon (well, almost!) and raising funds for Age Concern Twyford & District. They are aiming to reach at least £2,500, which will be spent on comfortable new chairs for members of the Age Concern social club.
A variety of gym machines at The Shredquarters will be put to good use as they aim to reach 384,400km (the distance to the moon). No rocket packs allowed!
It's an almighty challenge but everyone can play a part in making it happen - either through turning up on the day to have a session on a machine in return for a £10 entry fee, or by simply donating £10 using the link below:
The event is open to all - members and visitors alike. Come and go as you please between 8am and 2pm.
