Free - but sponsorship or donation greatly appreciated by the charity
The Sue Ryder charity supports people through the most difficult times of their lives. Whether that’s a terminal illness, the loss of a loved one or a neurological condition, they are there when it matters. Their doctors, nurses and carers offer compassion and expert care, helping people to live the best life they possibly can. The charity runs a number of centres around the country, including the Sue Ryder Duchess of Kent Hospice in Reading and the Sue Ryder Palliative Care Hub in Nettlebed.
Remember someone special
Join your family and friends to celebrate someone special this October. You can choose your distance, your start and finish line and make it your Walk to Remember with a route that means something to you.
You can walk any day throughout October or join hundreds of others across the country for the charity's official walk day on Saturday 17th October.
How you can help
Entry is free, but it’s your donations and fundraising that will make all the difference to patients and families needing Sue Ryder's specialist care.
You can fundraise £145 as a team which could fund a Sue Ryder Nurse for the day or donate £21 to cover an hour of nursing care.
Your donations and fundraising would mean a great deal to the charity, helping Sue Ryder to continue to be there when it matters most, enabling others to live the best life they possibly can.
