The Starlight Hike is a great opportunity to join together with friends and family and walk to remember loved ones, whilst raising vital funds for Sue Ryder Thames Valley.
Choose between a 5km or 10km walk under the stars within the beautiful grounds of Pangbourne College, just outside Reading.
With an electrifying Clubbercise warm-up and live music from local band Rufus Ruffcut, you’ll be kept entertained before you head out on this unique walk through grounds normally closed to the public.
They’ll be chance to purchase hot and cold food and drinks from the on site canteen, as well as take part in our raffle and purchase glowing memorabilia to get you all kitted out before the walk.
This is an evening not to be missed as you join together with hundreds of others to celebrate the lives of those we love and miss.
The Sue Ryder charity supports people through the most difficult times of their lives. Whether that’s a terminal illness, the loss of a loved one or a neurological condition, they are there when it matters. Their doctors, nurses and carers offer compassion and expert care, helping people to live the best life they possibly can. The charity provides palliative and neurological support both from specialist centres and in people's homes, through facilities including the Duchess of Kent Hospice in Reading and the Palliative Care Hub South Oxfordshire for in-home care.
