Wokingham will have a day packed with free, family-friendly fun from 11am on 30 May 2026. The town will be bursting with activity, including musical theatre workshops, arts and crafts, spring hat making, face painting, and plenty more to enjoy.

Face Painting: 11am – 3pm

In the main hall, create your own masterpiece guided by the spectacular costume designers from Reading Rep Theatre

Two sessions: 11.30am and 1.30pm. Spaces are limited to 85 people each session: first come first served.

A fun Discovery Trail for children: a total of 26 beautifully decorated plaques, each displaying a letter, have been placed in participating businesses across the town centre.

Children can pick up an entry form from Wokingham Library or any participating business, then enjoy hunting down the plaques and matching each letter to the correct business name before submitting their completed form into the special post box at Wokingham Library.

Participating businesses: Wokingham Décor, Coast to Coast, Poundstretcher, Mountain Warehouse, Maya Refillables, Waterstones, Antique Rose, De Novo Velo, MiMi, Giftology, Clarks, Flower Corner, Joy Cafė, Feather & Sole, Edinburgh Wool, Robert Dyas, Little Leapers, Pops & Flo, R Young Art Gallery, Funky Flowers, Stitchery Do, Peacock Interiors, Fiona Parry, Luckys Diner, Everyman Cinema, Wokingham Library.

The first 10 correct entries drawn on 9 June will each win a fantastic prize, with Dinton Activity Centre vouchers, cinema tickets and bowling vouchers all up for grabs.
