My Cancer, My Choices - Charvil charity launch event

Berkshire charity My Cancer, My Choices invites you to the launch event for its new premises in Charvil.

This is a wellbeing celebration highlighting what the charity offers - complementary therapies to patients being treated for cancer in Berkshire. Patients are referred by the Berkshire Cancer Centre at the Royal Berkshire Hospital, or they can self-refer.

The charity offers therapies in West Berkshire, Bracknell, Reading and now Charvil. The charity has previously operated from the RBH and Brants Bridge, but now has lovely new premises thanks to local trade union Accord.

The Charvil launch event will feature a marquee with art by ex cancer patients, refreshments, videos, and therapists offering sample taster sessions for complementary therapies such as acupuncture, massage and reflexology. There should also be a Spinathon, choir performance and yoga demonstration!

Charity volunteers will be on hand to explain to visitors what they do and why. Anyone is most welcome to come along during the afternoon, join in the celebration and learn more about My Cancer, My Choices.
