Reading Jazz Club meets on the second Wednesday evening of the month at Reading Rugby Club on Sonning Lane, just north of the A4 Shepherds Hill roundabout.
The club is administered by a group of local enthusiasts affectionately known as 'the Bell Ringers', whose crusade is to keep traditional jazz alive in the Thames Valley.
A full programme of events features the very best traditional jazz bands from all over the UK, and occasionally special guest appearances from European touring bands.
The club is a non-profit organisation: admission is £10 with any surplus funds donated to local charities. Doors open at 7pm with live music from 8pm up to 10.30pm .
