Well, now’s your chance to give it a go.Hurst Morris People (HuMP) are holding free and fun taster sessions on Thursdays 29 and 29 September. Just let them know you’d like to come, put on comfy shoes and hop down to Hurst Village Hall by 8pm.Men and women are welcome at the tasters. At half time there are homemade cakes, tea/coffee and a chance to chat.Musicians able to play fiddle, melodeon, concertina, accordion or recorder are also welcome to join the merry band for the taster sessions. Tunes are usually in the keys of G and D. The band aims to play from memory by the end of the practice season.HuMP dances at pubs, schools, fetes, stately homes and folk festivals.
