Founded in 2007, the Henley Literary Festival has firmly established itself as one of the UK’s most popular literary festivals, bringing together punters and pundits from far and wide in an annual meeting of minds set across its stunning riverside hometown.

Now in its 13th year, Henley Literary Festival is established as one of the UK’s biggest book festivals, with past authors including Judith Kerr, John Major, Jilly Cooper, John Sentamu and Julia Donaldson.

The 2019 festival will take place from Saturday 28 September to Sunday 6 October at venues across Henley-on-Thames with over 170 talks, Q&As, workshops and performances for adults and children. This year’s line-up includes Theresa May, Mary Berry, Kate Atkinson, Jacob Rees-Mogg, Tim Rice, Nadiya Hussain, Dom Joly, Pru Leith, Jack Straw, Michael Rosen, John Craven, Bryony Gordon, Melvyn Bragg, Monisha Rajesh, Tracy Borman, Matt Coyne, The Unmumsy Mum, Hurrah for Gin and Edd China. Family events include Chris Riddell, Dougie Poynter, Rob Biddulph, The Harry Potter Show, Elmer the Elephant and so much more.
