The most eagerly anticipated arts event in the Henley-on-Thames calendar is back for its 16th year.
Covering an area of 50 square miles of beautiful countryside from Bix to Hurst and Shiplake to Waltham St Lawrence, the trail usually attracts more than 10,000 visitors over the 3-day May bank holiday weekend.
For 2021 only, it will be held over two consecutive weekends in July, when Covid restrictions on events should be fully lifted.
From skilled amateurs to award winning professionals, the trail covers the full gamut of arts and crafts. Larger-than-life sculptures sit alongside delicate jewels; abstracts are juxtaposed against detailed botanical art.
Venues vary from artists' studios to village halls. All have free entry, and many offer refreshments, demonstrations or workshops. The trail is also an important fundraiser for local charities.
Follow the Henley Arts Trail on Facebook or Instagram for news about the artists.
