First Days is a Wokingham-based charity working and campaigning to end child poverty. First Days reduces the long term effect of poverty on children by equipping them with the essential items they need for their early years and at school. They believe children should be safe in their home and out and about, be confident in school and have fun - so the charity helps to facilitate that.
During 2022 the demand for services offered by First Days has been increasing exponentially, due to the cost of living crisis bringing a higher number of people into financial hardship. The Glow Walk is a fundraising event to support the work of the charity.
