Members also have opportunities to display their work, including at the Annual Exhibition. This year's event will have an extra Golden theme to mark the 50th anniversary. Visitors are welcome to go along and browse the varied and interesting work by members of Charvil Arts Group. Most of the pieces will be for sale - perhaps the perfect Christmas present!Refreshments including homemade cakes will be available all day.The art group meets at Charvil Village Hall from 7.30pm on Wednesday evenings during term time. New members are always welcome. The group provides a relaxed and friendly way to get together with other would-be artists to practise varied techniques and receive tuition from visiting tutors. The membership fee is only £40 per annum, with a small charge per session and for weeks when a tutor is present. Members range in age from the twenties to the eighties, and people work in a variety of mediums. A mixed programme encourages them to expand their skills by trying new methods and learning from each other. For more information, use the contact details above to visit the website, call Hilary or just turn up on a Wednesday evening at 7.30pm during term time. They would love to see you. About Nikki Ochtman View all posts by Nikki Ochtman → ← Previous Next →
