In this dance adaptation of Prosper Mérimée’s novella, the company's UK-based Spanish-born Artistic Director Jose Agudo weaves his Flamenco roots with a unique contemporary style. Using the familiar narrative of the classic story and set to an original Flamenco-infused score by Bernhard Schimpelsberger, the company of seven dancers delivers a rich tapestry of the themes, human motives and emotions that Carmen evokes.
