Continuing Wargrave Theatre Workshop’s tradition of highly acclaimed Shakespeare productions, As You Like It, their seventeenth ‘Shakespeare on the Green’, promises to bring delight and laughter to all audiences. Songs, music and dancing will add to Shakespeare’s wonderful words.

Often cited as Shakespeare’s funniest play, As You Like It is an Elizabethan romp. Led by his most engaging heroine, Rosalind, we follow the passions and tribulations of four sets of lovers in the Forest of Arden. Cross dressing and gender confusion add to the comedy. The court of Duke Ferdinand  and the Forest of Arden will be re-created on Wargrave’s beautiful Mill Green, with St Mary’s Church forming a backdrop.

There will be comfortable, covered seating to ensure an excellent evening’s entertainment even if it rains.
