Greener Henley Great Big Green Week

Reading Climate Action Network is holding two weeks of free events to inspire collective climate action in schools, businesses, communities and homes – including a Big Lunch for the whole town!

There’s something for everyone:

• A Youth Mobilisation Day organised by and for young people
• Events to help local businesses and schools measure, understand and reduce their climate impacts
• A chance to be part of a collective pledge to work towards net zero in Reading
• Wellbeing walks and talks about our amazing local nature
• Events to help householders reduce bills and create warmer homes
• A Big Lunch in Forbury Gardens for the whole community
• Create a Buzz!, an amazing sonic art installation at Town Hall Square
• Lots of insights into where Reading’s carbon emissions come from and who’s doing what about them…and much more.
