Free - donations welcome to support this year's charities
Join Wokingham Lions Club's Wokingham May Fayre for a day of family-friendly entertainment, live music and delicious food.
With over 130 stalls featuring local charities, craftspeople and businesses, you'll be able to browse a wide selection of unique goods and find something special to take home. And don't forget to check out the fairground rides, children’s zoo, magic acts and other fun activities for the kids!
Plus, you'll have the chance to enjoy live music from talented performers throughout the day, and indulge in a variety of tasty food and drink options from a range of vendors.
The Wokingham May Fayre is the perfect way to celebrate the start of the summer season! As it's the start of the King Charles III Coronation week there'll also be a royal theme.
The May Fayre is Wokingham Lions’ biggest annual fundraising event, with all funds going to support local charities. This year's charities are Camp Mohawk and Thames Hospice. You can donate online here or at the Lions' stall next to the Town Hall.
The May Fayre offers lots of great activities making it the perfect family day out. Alongside two stages of entertainment in Market Place and in Elms Field, you can enjoy the following:
- Children's Funfair
- Circus performers
- Punch and Judy
- Magic Show
- Over 100 Market stalls
- Numerous food & drink vendors
- Picnic area in Elms Field
The main stage is at the top of Denmark Street, opposite W H Smith. Stalls then extend down Denmark Street and through Erftstadt Court towards Elms Field. The funfair is on Elms Field along with other rides and food vendors. There is also an events marquee in Elms field that will keep you entertained while you enjoy your picnic.
